Our Stewardship in August & September

Called to Be a Community of Stewards. We have been encouraging each other to see tithing as the sister to regular worship with the Body of Christ, loving service to friend and stranger, and forgiveness for all, even our enemies. As we enter into the full swing of the fall with our special services in October, we are calling our congregation to stronger tithing, percentage giving, “to the work of Jesus Christ in the world and in this beloved community.”

We remember B. C. Forbes’ statement that reflects the Gospel: The be-all and end-all of life should not be to get rich, but to enrich the world.
