Handbell Ensembles

Inspiration Ringers

A training ensemble for young handbell ringers, the Inspiration Ringers perform several times a year in worship. Rehearsals include instruction in handbell technique, music education, and important ensemble experience.

• Membership: Grades 4^th – 8^th

• Rehearsals: Wednesday, 6:15 – 7:15 p.m., DUMC Choir Room

Youth Handbell Choir

Youth bells share several times in worship during the year. Rehearsals include musical education and important ensemble experience.

• Membership: Grades 8^th – 12^th/post high school – up to 12/14 members

• Rehearsals: Mondays, 5 – 6 p.m., DUMC Choir Room

• Director: Polly Edmonds Baldridge

Ring of Joy

Ring of Joy is an adult ensemble that leads in worship several times a year, playing music in many styles. The ensemble gives a spring concert every year, joined by the other two handbell ensembles.

• Membership: Open to all adults – up to 12/14 members

• Rehearsals: Mondays, 7:30 – 9 p.m., DUMC Choir Room
