KAIROS Information

Through the Kairos program, a DUMC delegation travels each year to Nicaragua to learn and experience realities that are very different from our own. Delegation members will explore issues surrounding justice and the causes and effects of poverty, in hopes of uncovering effective ways that we can respond and improve our world community.

The delegation also spends time living with members of our sister community of La Danta, building a relationship based on a foundation of care and compassion. The program believes that through a process of accompaniment we can improve lives and contribute to the Reign of God in our world community.
